The English Lady Dazzles The Crowd

Maureen Haseley-Jones, The English Lady heard on WRCH 100.5, noted gardening expert, lecturer and author, dazzled a crowd of over fifty-five nature lovers in the community room of The Farmington Library Thursday evening. Her witty, spirited, entertaining style brought together anecdotes of her life experiences along with a reverence for Mother Nature, a need to find peace and soliture in the hecticness of life,and respect for the earth to ensure its future. Gardening tips for dealing with moles, deer and grubs, the importance of manure, helpful hints on pruning, planting bulbs, watering, and lawn care formed the basis of the informative evening filled with warmth and laughter.
