Place books on hold at other Libraries

Our online catalog will now allow our patrons to place holds on Books that other libraries own and have them transferred here. For example, I am reading the sequel to Jumper, Reflex by Steven Gould which the Farmington Library doesn't own.

  1. I can now search for this book by changing the option under library from "Farmington Public Libraries" to "All Libraries" and searching for the item Farmington doesn't own.
  2. Click "more info", then click "place hold".
  3. Enter your library card number and password, and select Farmington or Barney as your pickup location and click place hold.
  4. You will get a call or email when your item arrives.
Remember that only print items can be requested. If the library owns an item , that item cannot be requested from other libraries from the catalog.
