Coach Calhoun's Visit

UConn's Men's Basketball Coach Jim Calhoun addressed a rapt audience about his new book, A Passion to Lead. Seventy-five people listened to Coach Calhoun's life-long learning experiences that illustrate his book's premise: having a passion for life, giving your best at those things you have a passion for, and striving for greatness. The best thing I heard was (reworded from memory) that when you strive for greatness everyday, but don't reach greatness, it's O.K., because you know you did your best and gave it all."
It was interesting advice to the many young men and budding athletes that were in the audience.
